Its the little things in life that keep you going. I have a job I absolutely hate. It actually brings me to tears on an almost daily basis. I have long term goals as far as my career but for now I make excellent money and must continue at the salt mines for the sake of my daughter. Eventually I would love to be creating art for a living. Then theres the constant battle to have enough money for all the people who want a piece of the pot. AND the constant struggle of desiring that piece of cake but hating the thick thighs it delivers. Lets not forget all the family and friends who want a piece of your time. There never seems to be enough of you to go around, am I right?

Thats why its so important to take pleasure in the little treasures life has to offer. I wouldn't categorize my daughter Zoe as a little thing but absolutely a treasure. Shes only 18 months old and amazes me on a daily basis. Just the other morning she jumped up and down on my bed exclaiming "I wiggle, I wiggle." And so she did.

Some of the other little treasures:

• Wonderful cuddly socks that come up over your knees and keep you warm and cozy.
• That skirt that almost delivers the free feeling of nudity.
• A spork.
• Great Indian food.
• Hot towels from the dryer.
• Waking up and realizing you have a few hours left to sleep.
