Cupcake Dreams
Sorry I haven’t posted in some time. I have been exhaustingly busy. I managed to get some new art work done and the store has been doing very well, nice and steady. In addition I had a birthday party to throw for my amazing two year old, Zoe. My mother purchased a make-up set for her and the results were quite funny. The party was a blast and my Zoe darling looked cute as a button in her vintage cowgirl dress and new cowgirl boots. She now has more clothes and toys than I know what to do with.

Liz and I attempted taking the kids to see Santa yesterday. Caleb did GREAT! He turned on the smile and I must say for 15 month he was very well behaved. My Zoe bear on the other hand did not handle the experience so well. She was terrified of Mr. Santa and even the “your a big girl now that your two” did not work a bit. Even momma sitting with Santa only seemed to panic her that the big scary whit beard man may steal her darling mother. Long story short 2006 did not deliver me an Easter Bunny picture nor a Santa picture. What a bummer.
Now the cupcake news! My best girl Liz and I were discussing how we would love to secure a wonderful future for our children, not have a boss, and do something we just love. I of course have been doing my art and it has been wonderful. Liz however was not blessed with the artist’s touch. We began talking about things we love and I of course mentioned CUPCAKES! Who doesn’t love cupcakes? I bake them a couple times a month for Zoebear! Liz’s mind began spinning as well and we came up with great ideas on how to make a successful cupcake business. One where we could be home with the kiddies and still help provide for them. We believe we have even come up with the name. We purchased enough to make 100 cupcakes as a test to see how much time and money this venture would take. And of course to decide what kind of cupcakes we want. After all this research I must say I never knew what an amazing world of cupcakes was out there. It makes me warm all over.
In other very sad news I feel its only right I mention the amazing Kim family since they have consumed my thoughts. I prayed daily for the Kims as they were going through this terrible ordeal. I can’t imagine going through such an aweful tragedy. I will continue to remember them in my prayers as they deal with their loss.
