So heres a spooky thing, I am almost ready to register for next semester of classes. School is always Spooky. My adviser and I came up with a very exciting plan. With the degree I am seeking I will be able to find employment in a wide variety of fields. The degree will have a focus in painting which I really am looking forward to since I feel its a medium I struggle with. I should be able to wrap this degree up in less than two years with my current education. I then plan to follow up with an MFA. The goal with this is I will be able to teach college courses. The appeal of this is to not only learn all I can but as a professor I can continue to learn and make a reasonable income while having time to be a mother and make art of my own. I am very excited about this new adventure.

Another spooky thing, my kid. Sometimes its spooky how smart she is. About a month ago we were at a toy store and she just had to have a Cinderella costume. Over $40 later she was loaded down with all the extras and ready to be a princess for Halloween. She wore the outfit to Kings Island for a Halloween activity and seemed to like it. Last night we were at the grocery and she sees a picture of a green vampire and that was it. All I have heard for the past day is she wants to be a green vampire and how stinky Cinderella is. Have I mentioned shes two! I have this mindset that she has maybe 10 trick or treats left so I think I may buy her the spooky vampire costume. Life is too short to not get to be what you want to be. I will post some pictures of the final costume soon but for now check out this picture shes looking super cute in.  

In news on the art front October has been a great month.  I have sold 80 items this month and the month isn’t even over yet.  I am excited to start the holiday season off so well.  Some new postcards are in the shop and I am awaiting two more designs that are still in the print process.  The cards in the shop are below.
